Professional Beauty London
Pre-pandemic, I attended the Professional Beauty London event, which was held at the ExCeL exhibition centre in East London.
Professional Beauty London is a trade show event for beauty professionals such as spa owners and beauty therapists, but you can attend as a consumer and buy beauty products - for less than the recommended retail price.
Whether you're a beauty professional or a beauty lover, I'd definitely recommend attending event because it's a great way to discover brands and the perfect opportunity to network with other pros.
I spent my time, as well as attending the Press section, where I received a heat massage. The beauty therapist used a warm shell - yes, really - to rub into my back and shoulders and it was so relaxing that I nearly fell asleep!
The expo has so many brands from different sectors of beauty, such as skincare, cosmetics, spas and salons. Honestly, if you were to go to an event like this, give yourself plenty of time to attend, because there's a lot to see, lots of products to try out and many seminars to attend. Professional Beauty London is a vibrant show with a lot going on throughout the day, so it’s best to give yourself a few hours (minimum) to immerse yourself.
All in all, I had an amazing time at the event and I must give a huge thanks to the Press team at Professional Beauty London who were kind enough to send me a press pass, allow me to test out some of treatments in the Press Lounge and give me a couple of goody bags.
Also, attending Professional Beauty inspired me. From a young age I was always fascinated with beauty and I have always loved to write. Attending the event motivated me to come up with new content ideas for my blog and it made me realise that there is a place for me in this industry as a beauty blogger.
